Join Babe Country 98.3 for our annual Holiday Gifts For Kids toy drive. Babe Country 98.3 will be broadcasting from Marketplace Foods from November 27th til December 2nd. Deadline to turn in registration forms: December 4, 2017 at 4:00 pm. New, unwrapped toys and gifts can be donated to the following Bemidji locations through Tuesday, December 4, 2017 at: First National Bank - all locations, L&M Fleet, Marketplace Foods, Menard's and Walgreens.
Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Sanford Center is Holiday Gifts for Kids distribution day. Confirmation postcards will be mailed out to approved applicants on Wednesday, December 5, 2017. A Minnesota Dementia Friends Workshop is being held in Blackduck on December 14 at 4pm at Restaurant 71. Questions regarding this event can be directed to Cindy Swedberg at 218-760-6727. The workshop is facilitated by Northwood’s Caregivers, and is scheduled to last one hour.
Mitchell-Hamline School of Law’s first-in-the-country “hybrid” juris doctor program has announced its first graduates. The fully accredited program enrolls more than 80 students per year to complete law school through “e-learning,” and one or two weeks of on-campus coursework per semester.
